Although the first two reviews sound radical, it may not be far from the truth. I was deep in the woods a few weeks ago and was approached by a pack of wild dogs. The biggest one decided he wanted to get close and he looked like he was serious about chomping on me. As always I had my .45 ACP and I popped him in the head with a shot. It took the top of his head off and it was raining dog brains. I heard the pieces falling on the ground. I had to take out another dog and got him in the side of the rib cage. It blew out the other side with an exit hole about 6" in diameter. The other dog retreated. God forbid if I had to use it on a two-legged threat. I wonder if a court would try to make an issue about it's radical effectiveness.

No doubt the round itself is excellent. Great expansion and the bullet has stayed together well in milk jug, wet phone book tests. The +P rounds are a very hot load and cause a good muzzle "jump" on short barrell's. If you choose to shoot this round for SD.. good idea to practice with it and make sure your comfortable with accuracy on follow up/2nd shots. Just an fyi.

This ammo is issued to our Department. The problem is that no one really knows how it performs because once an officer sights in on a suspect he surrenders.The criminals are so scared of this ammunition because in our neighboring town the criminals have been shot to pieces. Puts down a charging pitbull like an African double rifle.

Guys #2 sounds like he just made up some story or heard it from someone else; Fucking Idiot. I can only assume that Guy #3 may be the biggest Idiot, but anyone who believes those two stories should be shot in the head themselves. Fuck you Idiots, ill make sure to load up mine with the Rangers next time i rob someone

All I can say is Wow! A punk thought he was going to rob me last spring. Wrong!!! He pulled a knife so I took a shot. I hit too low and got him in the stomach. It was similiar to shooting a plastic jug full of water - but what came out of him was certainly not water. Explosive is all I can say. Don't change a thing.

Came home from work one night. Very late. Heard a noise in the den - sounded like two guys whispering. The wife and kids were at the in-laws out of town, so I knew this was a bad deal. That's where my gun collection was and thank God most of them were locked up in the safe. I slowly inched my way towards them with my .45 ACP locked and loaded. One of them saw me and pointed a pistol at me. My military training paid off. I got off a round of Ranger T dead center between the eyebrows. That's when I wished I had a FMJ cause that Talon took the top of that guys head off. Freaking mess. It blew brains all over the ceiling and his buddy started screaming and freaked out cause his buddies brains were all over him and in his hair. It reminded me of the movie Pulp Fiction when John Travolta shot the guy in the head that was rinding in the back seat. They are awesome rounds. But if I had to do it again, I don't know if I would want to use them indoors. At least not my house... They worked so well, I didn't have to shoot the second guy. He almost callapsed from fear and shock. Awesome round!
